One of my hobbies during COVID-19 was making beer (and cider) which turned out to be a great hobby! And, I decided I needed to have it all on tap in my backyard. So I designed and printed a kegerator! Ok, not a whole kegerator but a tap head! ok, not an entire tap head but a head to hold the taps!!

I used small 5L kegs and loaded them into a small kegerator and then designed and printed the head for standard taps. The head sites on a 4 inch PC tube which protects the beer lines going down into the kegerator.

The beer lines are actually run-down copper plumbing pipes which are inside a 2″ PVC tube. That is wrapped in insulation and then covered by the outside 4′ PVC pipe. Those all are held on top of the kegerator with a 3D-printed mount.

I used copper pipe which extends down into the kegerator so that the cold from the kegerator would cool the copper pipes and therefore keep the beer in the lines cold. Probably not needed but seemed like a good idea at the time.
